We are seeking an exceptional, mission-driven leader to join the executive leadership team as the Director of Residential Services (DRS). The DRS is the leader of our QRTP, Hephzibah Home, ensuring residents receive the highest quality care and effective behavioral counseling in a safe, supportive environment. The DRS is responsible for all goals, activities, outcomes, financial performance, and staff performance in the program.

The Director of Residential Services collaborates with other departments and programs to achieve agency goals and is the content expert on residential services. The DRS is responsible for ensuring our compliance with the Department of Children and Family Services Licensing Standards for Child Welfare Services, and Child Care Institution, the Department of Mental health, and the Council on Accreditation.

The Director of Residential Services has responsibilities in five key categories including: program leadership, performance management, organizational leadership, managerial leadership, and operational compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited college or university as well as licensed LCSW or LCPC.
  • Minimum of five years relevant supervisory experience.
  • Five years of related experience in residential services in a child welfare agency desired.
  • Mission driven with a commitment to equity and inclusion in leadership and all organizational aspects and commitment to the core values of commitment to children and families, respect, honesty and integrity, accountability, learning and improvement and stability and innovation.
  • Requires good judgment and decision-making skills, high ethical standards, and strong operational focus.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies.
