The coordinator is responsible for supporting staff development throughout the agency. This includes working closely with program and department leadership to develop needs assessment and professional development plans for each program and department. Create, update and maintain training materials. Responsible for sourcing and developing training curricula including First Aid, CPR, Crisis Prevention Intervention, management and supervisory training, continuing education workshops and other training as needed.
Responsible for on-boarding staff to and administration of Relias, the learning management system (LMS); this includes periodic management summary reports and regular auditing.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational management, training/education or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in organizational training.
- Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills desired.
- Experience developing and facilitating training for adult learners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and presentation skills, ability to work independently, and the ability to work effectively with staff.
- Requires good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and LMS systems.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in staff and client populations.
- Ability to work 35-40 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
