Collection of Personal Information
You may provide personal information to Hephzibah if you make a donation, sign up for our newsletter, sign up to participate in one of our events or otherwise contact us for information. Such information includes contact information such as your email and mailing address, as well as financial information necessary to facilitate your donation. Hephzibah does not collect this information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily.
Collection of Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Hephzibah also collects non-personally identifiable information such as transactional or log information, which tells us your IP address, the browser you use, the times you access the website and other similar information. The log information we collect is not linked to any personal information you provide. We collect this information to enhance the user experience by improving the functionality and features of our website.
Information Sharing Practices
We may also share your information without consent, when the disclosure is required by law or regulation or when it is necessary to comply with court orders, subpoenas or lawful discovery requests. We may also use your information to investigate security breaches or otherwise cooperate with authorities pursuant to a legal matter.
Hephzibah only collects financial information that is necessary to process your donation. Your payment information is transmitted through an encrypted site. We may use a third-party payment card processor to facilitate your online donations. Once a donation is processed, we do not save your credit/debit card information unless you elect to sign up for a recurring donation.
Hephzibah understands the importance of protecting this world’s most precious resource, our children. We have been providing safety and care to society’s most vulnerable children since 1897. While we will continue to pursue our mission to help children thrive, our Site is not designed to attract children under the age of 13. As a result, Hephzibah does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If Hephzibah discovers that such information has been inadvertently collected, that information will be deleted.
