The Family-Based Program has a full-time therapy position available in the Foster Care Program to provide family and individual therapy services late afternoon, evenings and/or Saturdays. Therapy will be provided to foster children who have a history of trauma and their families who need therapeutic intervention. Therapy will be in person with some remote sessions if needed. Days and hours of work will vary depending on client needs.
- LCPC or LCSW or LMFT.
- Previous experience with children in foster care is preferred.
- Experience providing therapy to children who have experienced trauma.
- Must have a valid IL driver’s license.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population.
