Hephzibah Auxiliary Boards are a great way to get involved and volunteer your time to further the mission of Hephzibah Children’s Association. The benefits to you include forming new friendships, engaging with your community and discovering new purpose in life. They are also fun!
We have three active auxiliary boards: Oak Park Auxiliary, Chicago Auxiliary, and the Western Auxiliary. Our auxiliary boards raise awareness of Hephzibah and of what we do, host fundraising events and organize activities for children residing at Hephzibah Home. Our auxiliary boards are inspiring and bring the spirit of community to every event.

Oak Park Auxiliary Board
The Oak Park Auxiliary Board is Hephzibah’s longest serving group of dedicated community volunteers. Each year, they host several local fundraisers including their signature HephziBOO! Dash and a bake sale at the Oak Park farmer’s market. The Auxiliary coordinates seasonal events for the children in the Hephzibah Home, most notably the Kid’s Gala in April!
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in Oak Park.
Our Oak Park Auxiliary Board is always looking for new members. If you are interested in joining this auxiliary, but first wish to learn more, fill out the Inquiry Form below. Western Auxiliary Board
Each year, the Western Auxiliary organizes and hosts fundraising events like Rock ‘n Roll for Your Heart & Soul, a fun music-filled event with several local bands entertaining the crowd throughout the night.
For over 20 years The Auxiliary hosted the popular Memorial Day Hoof It for Hephzibah 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ Dash in Glen Ellyn, IL. The Western Auxiliary also coordinates special events for the children in Hephzibah Home such as holiday cookie decorating, a lunch and a scavenger hunt , and a group outing to Ackerman Sports Complex.
Meetings are held monthly on the second Wednesday of each month in Glen Ellyn, IL.

Corporate, Business, Foundation, or Community Partner
As a Hephzibah partner, corporations, businesses, foundations, and organizations can raise their visibility in the community, boost morale, and foster a culture of teamwork and civic responsibility. Hephzibah staff works with partner organization to plan a wide variety of activities with the children living in Hephzibah Home or other important projects.
