The Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) offers home coaching for parents with broadly focused parenting support and intervention on a one-to-one basis. This program provides curriculum-based support to parents who have concerns about their child’s behavior or development across various settings (6-12 years old). The Family Facilitator will provide services to families within a community-based setting through individualized, performance-based plans to promote and develop positive behavior for their child and general parental autonomy throughout the intervention process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required, master’s degree preferred.
  • Previous case management experience in social services/child welfare
  • Experience working with clients using evidence-based intervention.
  • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of families including some evenings. Willingness to work in clients’ homes and community settings.
  • Must complete training in evidence-based treatment model.
  • Must have valid Illinois Driver’s license and access to a car.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client populations.
