Secondary Caseworker: Full-time

The Secondary Caseworker performs duties to assist primary workers in providing services to children and families in our Intact program. The responsibilities include conducting home visits, supervising child and family visits, transportation of clients to various appointments, assisting clients in obtaining concrete services and assisting the primary workers with paperwork requirements.  

Requirements include: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in social Work or related field. 
• Previous experience in a child welfare agency preferred. 
• Child Welfare Licensure preferred. 
• Must have a valid IL driver’s license to do home visits in various communities. 
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies. 
• Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population.
