A dream team is taking shape to plan Hephzibah’s Heart of Gold Ball 2016, and you’re invited to the kickoff. Join us September 15, 2015 at 6:30 pm at Hephzibah Home, 946 North Boulevard, Oak Park to learn about the newly formed Gala Committee. We’ll tour the house and provide information about our work with children.
The Heart of Gold Ball is a spectacular annual event, sponsored by Hephzibah’s dedicated Oak Park Auxiliary Board with dinner, dancing, awards, and a live auction. This year we’re inviting friends, spouses, community members, and members of other Hephzibah Auxiliary Boards to join the Oak Park Auxiliary Board in planning the gala. Subcommittees will work on sponsorship, auction plans, theme, décor and all the exciting elements that go into Hephzibah’s largest most vital fundraiser. No experience is required, just the desire to pitch in and spread the word about Hephzibah.
We’re thrilled to announce that Donna Rolf and Jen Weaver (pictured above) from the Oak Park Auxiliary Board will be this year’s Co-Chairs, along with Jen’s husband Josh Weaver. Our date is set for Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Morgan Manufacturing, an expansive industrial chic space in Chicago’s west loop. Last year’s Heart of Gold Ball at the Bridgeport Arts Center hosted 470 guests and earned more than $300,000 for Hephzibah. With your help we can do even more.
