Leesa Tinervia: Celebrating 25 Years of Service with Hephzibah

Each year, we honor a staff person who has dedicated 25 years or more of service to Hephzibah. Luckily for us, we have many long-standing loyal employees who love the work they do, and believe strongly in Hephzibah’s mission to help families thrive and flourish.

This year, we honor Leesa Tinervia, Residential Systems Manager at Hephzibah Home. Leesa goes above and beyond in her role and consistently provides the children at the home with the thoughtful care they deserve.

When asked what her favorite part of the day is, she said “When I walk in the door.” Leesa has a deep love and passion for her job, and can’t imagine working anywhere else. We asked Leesa what her daily motivation for her work was. She answered: “There is no shortage of suffering in the world. If you can make a difference in someone life, why wouldn’t you? Each day, after work, I go home smiling. This is my path right now, and this is what I’m meant to do.”

We treasure our staff, and are thankful for their dedication and devotion to the work they do. We believe in providing children and families with nurturing support and helping them to strengthen in any way we can. Our staff is the backbone of our work, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
