We are seeking a full-time Foster Care Supervisor in the Family-Based Services Program. The supervisor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing clinical supervision, support, training, and overall skill development; manage and monitor workloads of staff, participate in child and family team meetings, attend required training and meetings, and may provide some direct service if coverage is needed.
Requirements include:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field required.
- Experience in a child welfare agency is preferred
- Child Welfare License preferred.
- Must have a valid IL driver’s license and good driving record to do home visits in various communities if needed.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies.
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population.
