The residential program is seeking a full-time Supervisor to provide supervision and mentoring of the childcare staff, and direct service to the children, in a structured therapeutic setting.
The position is 40 hours a week, 12 pm-10 pm shifts, with flexibility to work morning shifts, and every third weekend.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred but not required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Experience working with special needs children in a residential group home setting
- Experience supervising staff desired
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Decision making and judgment skills
- Valid IL driver’s license and safe driving record
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population
