These special foster families are celebrating a permanent addition to their families through adoption or guardianship facilitated by Hephzibah. Ebert Studios in Oak Park has generously discounted its services to commemorate the occasion. We are seeking donations of $200 per family to cover the rest of the cost. It’s a wonderful way to spread the love.
Achieving a stable, loving home is the goal for more than 400,000 children currently in foster care in the U.S. For some children and youth, permanence is found through family reunification or in the love and support of relatives, also known as kinship care. For others, permanence is achieved through adoption. According to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, permanence means creating lifelong connections with caring adults who will be there through the transition from foster care to adulthood.
