Call to Action: Foster Our Teens!

Attend an informational session to learn about foster and adoption opportunities for teens. Hephzibah has teamed up with 10 private agencies to form a coalition that focuses on recruiting new foster families. Tickets are free, but due to limited space, reservations are suggested. This program showcases some amazing teen speakers who will share their foster care journeys. You’ll also get an overview of the foster care license process and the adoption from foster care process. Agency representatives will be there to answer questions.

The Call to Action: Foster Our Youth! Coalition is sponsoring the event in partnership with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, Pride Action Tank, Windy City Media and the Illinois Center for Adoption and Permanency. The Coalition includes Hephzibah Children’s Association and the following social service agencies: Aunt Martha’s, ChildServ, Kaleidoscope, Lakeside Community Committee, Lawrence Hall, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, Little City, National Youth Advocate Program and SOS Children’s Villages.  To learn more about Hephzibah’s foster care services contact Ashley Lepse.
