Heart of Gold Ball 2026

The 2026 Heart of Gold Ball will be held on Friday, March 6th at Rockwell on the River in Chicago, same as last year. Join us for an evening of revelry and refinement as we honor the annual Heart of Gold and Mary Anne Brown Heart of the Home awardees! Continuing the theme ‘A Child at Heart,’ we hope to provide a space where adults can nurture their inner child as they celebrate Hephzibah’s accomplishments and our collective power for change during challenging times. Can’t wait to see you there!

Every year at the Heart of Gold Ball, awards are given to honor those who have made a lasting impact on the lives of Hephzibah children and families.

2026 Heart of Gold Award

The WellSky Foundation

The Heart of Gold Award honors individuals, organizations or corporations who have exhibited outstanding personal or professional achievement affecting disadvantaged children on a local or national level. The WellSky Foundation’s consistent support has strengthened Hephzibah’s programs over many years, allowing us to serve the unique needs of all our children. Wellsky has donated over $100,000 and hundreds of volunteer hours to Hephzibah. 

2026 Mary Anne Brown Heart of the Home Award

Tami Wanless

The Heart of the Home Award recognizes outstanding service and commitment to Hephzibah through a particular project or program. Tami is a connector, a community-maker, and a fierce advocate for the children and families of Hephzibah. As president of Hephzibah’s Western Auxiliary, she champions and performs at the annual Rock ‘N’ Roll for your Heart & Soul fundraiser, which has been supporting the Hephzibah Sibling Camp program since 2011.
