Hephzibah Receives Grant from the Chicago Bears

We love the Chicago Bears and we know you’re going to love them too if you’re not already a fan. On Sunday, October 20, Hephzibah received a very generous grant of $100,000 grant from the Chicago Bears as one of their Community All Pros Winners.

chicago-bears-all-prosAs part of the celebration of their 100th season, the Bears are recognizing and supporting 10 non-profit organizations that matter the most to their fans and are making a positive impact around Chicagoland and Illinois. Hephzibah is honored to have been selected as one of their Community All Pros Winners.

“This incredible gift will have tremendous impact on the lives of up to 50 young children who call Hephzibah their home each year,” said Hephzibah Children’s Association Executive Director Merry Beth Sheets.”

As a Community All Pros Winner, Hephzibah received a $100,000 grant from the Chicago Bears and was recognized at the October 20, 2019 game against the Saints televised on FOX News.

Executive Director, Merry Beth Sheets, and Board of Directors Chairperson, Kenna MacKinnon, had the honor of serving as honorary captains and were ON THE FIELD DURING THE COIN TOSS!

All of our gratitude goes out to the Chicago Bears for letting Hephzibah’s children know that the community and the Chicago Bears believe in them.
