Applications are being accepted for a full-time Clinical Coordinator in the Residential Services Program. The position provides clinical supervision and guidance to residential caseworkers, internal therapists, and interns. Assists the Director of Residential Services with the planning and implementation of clinical services for children, while serving as the agency compliance monitor for all Medicaid services in compliance with the Department of Children and Family Services, and state and federal guidelines.
Requirements include:
- Master’s degree and licensing in social work (LCSW) or Clinical psychology /counseling (LCPC)
- Five years of post-master’s work experience in the field of child welfare.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Familiarity, experience, and the ability to engage residential counselors in ARC implementation trauma informed practice desired.
- Experience in a child welfare agency preferred.
- Work on call rotation and be willing to work flexible hours.
- Previous experience in managed Medicaid behavioral healthcare.
- Valid IL driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and to work effectively with staff, children, parents, clients, students, oversight agencies and the public.
- Requires good judgment and decision-making skills, high ethical standards, and strong operational focus.
