Giving Tuesday was fun at Hephzibah!
Here’s how:
• We raised $3,550 online through our website.
• The customers of the Community Bank of Oak Park and River Forest generously donated $6,277 and the Bank then matched the first $1,000 for a total of $7,277. Wow, this is a generous community!
• The Huskie Helpers were fabulous! They began their global day of giving by asking their friends at OPRF high school for donations during the three lunch periods. Their friends generously donated more than $200. After school, they took to the streets and collected more than $750. Their energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Motorists had kind words for our volunteers which gave them a wonderful sense of the local support for Hephzibah’s mission.
