After introducing our guests to some of our mindfulness methods we teach to our kids, we were honored to present this year’s Heart of Gold award to the WellSky Foundation for their continued support of Hephzibah through donations and staff volunteers. Cuyler Brown delivered a heartfelt speech introducing the Mary Anne Brown Heart of the Home award, named after his mother. The award was presented to Tami Wanless, president of Hephzibah’s Western Auxiliary board and fearless advocate for the children of Hephzibah Home and beyond.

At the end of an evening of dancing, dinner, drinking, and bidding on amazing auction items generously provided by sponsors and donors, our 265 guests, donors, and sponsors helped raise
$590,000!!
…for the health and well-being of children and families through the work we do at Hephzibah. Each and every Hephzibah donor and supporter (that’s you!) is a part of this inspiring community of staff, families, and kids, and we’re so proud of how far we’ve come. Congratulations to our awardees, The Wellsky Foundation and Tami Wanless! Your hearts of gold are infectious, thank you for bringing us all together! Finally, thank you to all of our sponsors who made this wonderful evening of celebration and charity possible – show them some love and consider sponsoring the event next year!
